CVD Diamonds
Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), a diamond seed (a small piece of natural or HPHT diamond) is placed in a chamber with a mixture of gases, typically methane and hydrogen. These gases are then activated, and carbon atoms are deposited onto the seed, forming layers of crystal structure over time.
